Golden's vertical monster — one of the highest proportions of expert terrain in Canada: five bowls, dozens of inbounds chutes off the ridgelines, and champagne interior snow to fill them. A big-mountain rider's mountain with almost no intermediate filler.
Ikon days. Golden is a working town, cheap and unpolished. One gondola serves everything, so storm-day lines happen — but the terrain disperses people fast. It pairs with Revelstoke for the definitive British Columbia steeps swing.
